Alexis Gonçalves Ramirez is a Canadian photographer. When he was younger, he had his head barried in fashion magazines and movies, looking for new images, unknown characters and unexplored settings. His imagination represented a form of an escape from his daily life in the small suburbs. A few years later, in 2014, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières. Following an internship at ICI Radio-Canada, he refused their job offer and chose risk, a different avenue. His path lead him in front of the camera, as a model with Folio Agency in Montreal. It wasn't until a few years later that he realized he'd rather be on the other side of the lens. Since then, his playground has been the realm of photography and with hopes that through his photography it is possible to mark time, change a perception, create an emotion or in-still a feeling.

Alexis Gonçalves Ramirez est un photographe canadien. Plus jeune, il avait toujours la tête dans les magazines de mode et les films, à la recherche de nouvelles images, de personnages inconnus et de décors inexplorés. Cet imaginaire représentait pour lui une échappatoire à son quotidien en petite banlieue.
Quelques années plus tard, en 2014, il devient titulaire d’un Baccalauréat en Communication sociale à l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. À la suite d’un stage à ICI Radio-Canada, il refuse leur offre d’emploi et choisit le risque, une avenue différente. Son chemin le mène devant la caméra, comme mannequin avec l’agence Folio Montréal.
Ce n’est que quelques années plus tard qu’il réalise qu'il préfère se trouver de l’autre côté de la lentille.
Depuis, son terrain de jeu est le domaine de la photographie et espère que par celle-ci, il est possible de marquer le temps, de changer une perception, de créer une émotion ou d’insuffler un sentiment.
