Alexis Gonçalves Ramirez is a Canadian photographer. When he was younger, he had his head barried in fashion magazines and movies, looking for new images, unknown characters and unexplored settings. His imagination represented a form of an escape from his daily life in the small suburbs. A few years later, in 2014, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières. Following an internship at ICI Radio-Canada, he refused their job offer and chose risk, a different avenue. His path lead him in front of the camera, as a model with Folio Agency in Montreal. It wasn't until a few years later that he realized he'd rather be on the other side of the lens. Since then, his playground has been the realm of photography and with hopes that through his photography it is possible to mark time, change a perception, create an emotion or in-still a feeling.
